Company Outing to Groningen

Our company outing to Groningen took place on May 24th – full of wonderful experiences.

The day began in a good mood with the departure from Barnstorf in two buses. In Leer, we first fortified ourselves with a delicious breakfast buffet, and the restaurant offered a beautiful view of the Leda River. After a one-hour bus ride, we arrived in Groningen.

Before lunch, there was still time to explore the city center on our own and enjoy the city's atmosphere. In the afternoon, a canal cruise was planned. A tour boat was chartered especially for BARKU, allowing us to experience the city from a water perspective – a real highlight!

Afterwards, we visited a brewery located directly on one of Groningen's many canals. Here, we not only got to know the brewery but also sampled various craft beers – a perfect end to a great day!

On a relaxing return trip to Barnstorf, we stopped for potato salad and sausages to round off the day in a relaxed manner. Around 11 p.m., the thoroughly successful trip ended at BARKU.
